KEEPING YOUR RUBS/MARINADES FRESH:
-
Store all rubs and marinades away from
heat and moisture. Do not store them near the stove nor by the
dishwasher or any other appliance where moisture or humidity can
affect them.
-
Do not put rubs/marinades in your refrigerator. This could cause
clumping. Keep them cool (68 degrees F maximum, 20 degrees C) as
well as dry.
-
Store all your spices away from light. Direct exposure to sunlight
and to fluorescent light will cause spices to lose their potency
over time.
-
Always completely close the lids tightly after using the containers.
-
Measure out amount of seasoning desired AWAY from cooking food
products, using a dry measuring spoon. Never sprinkle seasonings
into a food item that is emitting steam, as moisture will get into
rubs and cause caking and clumping.
SHELF LIFE OF OUR RUBS AND
MARINADES:
- Our dry rubs and marinades will not
spoil, and, if the above guidelines are followed, should remain
fresh and fully flavorful for 2 years.
